Connecting Stripe M2 Bluetooth Credit Card Readers
Stripe M2 Bluetooth Credit Card Readers connect you the Sellout Mobile App for Box Office sales. To connect a reader follow the steps below.
Turn on the M2 Reader
Login to the Sellout Mobile App
If your reader is up to date, simply process a transaction. The reader will connect to the app, not the device via the Bluetooth menu. Rather, before confirming the order, you will be prompted to select the reader to connect to.
Click the Settings icon
Select Update Reader (Note - the reader must be fully charged to update)
Stripe frequently releases updates to their hardware. The readers can only be updated by connecting to the Sellout Mobile App. Make sure your reader is up to date before processing transactions via the reader. Updates can take up to as long as 20 minutes.
Select the reader to update. The name of the reader corresponds to the serial number on the back of the reader.
Once updated, you can process transactions using the updated reader. To connect to the reader, simply process a transaction. Before confirming the order, you will be prompted to select a reader to connect to.
