Chargebacks that are filed after an event has taken place will not be accepted. Sellout along with our payment processing partner, Stripe, document each transaction in detail and will submit all evidence to protect us and our partners against fraudulent activity taken by customers.
If your disputed charge (chargeback) is declined because it was filed post event or the ticket was scanned at said event, you will be charged for the fees associated with the dispute. Dispute fees from Stripe are $15.00 plus 0.4% of the transaction total.
If you receive charge back notification in your Stripe account, fear not, we are here to help! Please notify us at hello@sellout.io and a member of our team will assist in compiling the necessary data to refute the claim.
