Now for the fun part. Let's create tickets for your event.

If you selected a seating chart, your ticket types will already be pre-filled for you.

Click the orange "Create Ticket" button to get started. A pop-up will appear where you will be prompted to enter information about that ticket type.

Ticket Name

What's the name of this ticket type? Is this General Admission? Balcony? VIP? Name the ticket whatever you like, just make it contextualized enough that your customer understands what they are buying.

Total Qty. (Quantity)

How many of these tickets are available in total? Set a number to limit the available quantity of these tickets.

Price

What is the cost of each ticket?

Purchase Limit

How many tickets of this type can be purchased by a single customer?

Description (optional)

Optionally, you can create a description for a ticket that will be displayed to customers when they are selecting tickets during checkout. Keep this description short & sweet, but give additional context if needed.

Show advanced options

Click this button to see other, more advanced ticketing options:

Roll fees into ticket price

Use this option if you would like to eliminate fees for customers. The price that they see on a ticket is the price that they will pay. This does mean that you will be responsible for covering the transaction fees for the customer, and you will earn slightly less than the displayed ticket price when you select this option.

Pricing tiers

Pricing Tiers allow you to sell tickets for different prices based on dates & times, or quantities sold. For a full breakdown of how Pricing Tiers work, please click here.

Holds

If you would like to withhold a certain number of tickets from being sold, enter that quantity in here. You can even name the hold, for example, you could name a hold "VIP Comps", and name another hold "Family & Friends" so that you can better keep track of where held tickets are going when you eventually comp them, or put them back on the market.

Custom fields

If you are selling a ticket, but also need to know something specific about the ticket purchaser of that ticket, you can use the Custom Fields panel to ask a question of the customer at the time of purchase. For more information about Custom fields, click here.
